How this Brouhaha got started
Clay, Dave, Kirk, and Tim started singing together in the fall of 2019 to create some brouhaha by showing people how much fun it is to sing barbershop. In spite of COVID trying to jump in the way of that, we did create our own little brouhaha during that time by getting together, rehearsing, and having a bunch of fun ringing chords and making music. In fact, we had so much fun that we decided we needed a name that reflected what we enjoyed through barbershop…and after using the word “brouhaha” so much for our first couple of years, it seemed like a natural thing for the four of us to keep the Brouhaha going!
We’ve all heard the expression “…and the rest is history…”, which in no way applies to Brouhaha, because most of the rest hasn’t happened yet. We’ve had a great several years ringing chords and bringing our own brand of quintessential quirkiness to folks all over…but this Brouhaha is just getting started!
